Writing Lessons
The writing lessons I've taught have ranged from teaching students to literally write letters in Kindergarten to teaching sentence and paragraph writing strategies in middle school.
In my experience in elementary classes, I taught lessons from Benchmark Education's "StartUp Phonics Skills Bag" curriculum. I would take the content within the scripted lesson and modify it to fit the students' needs.
In my middle school experiences I taught lessons from the Kansas Strategies series as well as from Powerful Writing Strategies for All Students. I would add to the lesson by creating graphic organizers.
